THE PERFECT STEAK

Some Tips:

Allow the steak to rest enough to soak up all the juices

You want it pink in the middle so that it won't be overcooked the next day for leftovers

INGREDIENTS:

  • Steak
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Onion Salt (optional)
  • Garlic Powder
  • Spicy Rub (Optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  • Place a skillet into the oven while it preheats to 500 degrees
  • Start prepping your steak by drying with napkins
  • Season the steak and rub it in on both sides
  • Depending on the thickness of your steak, you might need to put more or less seasoning
  • Once the oven is done, take out the skillet and place on high heat for 5 minutes
  • Sear each side of the steak for 30 seconds
  • Then place it into the oven for 3 minutes each side (go 4 minutes if you want it more done)
  • Take the steak out and tent it with a foil on a plate
