MATCHA ICE CREAM

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups half & half
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 TSP salt
  • 3 TBSP matcha powder

DIRECTIONS:

  • For 24 hours, freeze a bowl
  • Heat the first three ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat
  • Then add in the matcha powder and stir often
  • Stir until it starts to foam and gets very hot but not boiling
  • Remove from heat and put into a bowl on top of an ice bath
  • Cover with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for 2-3 hours
  • Churn 20 minutes and then freeze
