CHOCOLATE GANACHE

Some Tips:

You can use chocolate chips instead of bars -- 1 1/3 cups

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate baking bars (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

DIRECTIONS:

  • In a saucepan, heat up the whipping cream to a simmer stirring occasionally
  • Remove from heat once it is at a simmer and pour it over the chocolate
  • Place a lid on chocolate for 5 minutes then remove lid
  • Swirl the chocolate with a silicone spatula staring from the center and working outwards
  • Let it sit at room temp for 15 minutes then pour over cake
