Some Tips:

Do not over stir in this recipe!!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 TSP baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter (cubed)
  • 1 cup buttermilk

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat the oven to 475 degrees
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it
  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
  • Then take the cubed butter and put it into the bowl. Knead with your fingers squishing into pea sized lumps
  • Pour in the buttermilk and mix until just combined
  • Scoop onto the baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes
